The publishers of our math book provide extra practice, math minutes, problem of the day, and practice and vocabulary activities.
Sheppard Software
A personal favorite, this site has a TON of exciting math games that are easily organized by standards. Find games covering basic operations, time, money, geometry, fractions and more. (They also have a language arts section!)

At mathisfun.com you can find a wide variety of math activities, including games, worksheets, puzzles, and even a math dictionary!
Math Fact Cafe
This website has a ton of free worksheets that you can print from home. Use them as timed drills or for extra practice. They also have games, word problems, flash cards, and a time and money section.
READING
Scholastic Book Expert
Visit this site to see if books you have at home or have checked out from the library are supported with Reading Counts quizzes. You can also check book Lexiles and point values.

SPELLING
Spelling City
At Spelling City, you can input our weekly spelling lists and then have your child play fun games with his or her spelling words. It's a great way to increase exposure to our words in a fun way that kids will enjoy!

SBCEO Portal
The Santa Barbara County Education Office has put together an amazing educational portal that our students now have access to. There is a plethora of research databases, online videos, games, and so much more. It's a site you just have to check out yourself. If you need login information, send an email to my school account.
Typing Web
This is a great site to practice typing skills. Your child will be creating an account in Computer class and can practice at home. Be sure that your child is doing the lessons properly and not peeking at the keyboard too much.
